This section contains the firmware uploading of XBLink

Overview

There are 2 methods to update new firmware for XBLink:

1. Flash Firmware via hardware: new device, need to login after flash

2. Upgarde Firmware via software: update software, not need login after update

Hardware Preparation

Requirements

• XBlink 5G

• Host PC (Windows)

• Micro USB cable

• Power supply for XBlink 5G

• System Image provided by XB

Flash Firmware:

This section will guide you how to flash new firmware of XBLink:

1. Turn on "Boot"

2. Connect UPGR USB port to your PC by USB cable

3. Turn on boot software on your PC, before Power On

4. Power On XBLink ( plug battery), sys led will be solid

5. Format SD Card

Format before write new img

6. Flash new firmware with Win32DiskImgare

Choose the img (contact XB to get img)

Then click “Write”

Wait until the process reaches 100%.

Once completed, turn off the boot switch and power cycle the XBlink.
